The main body which oversees the accreditation and registration of counsellors in the UK is the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). You can visit their website by clicking here.

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist which means that I have met their strict criteria for qualified and experienced therapists, and that I work in accordance with their guidelines.

It also means that when you work with me you have access to their complaints procedure for your safety and protection.

In order to maintain my accreditation I undergo at least 30 hours of professional development each year by attending on-going training and other types of personal development.

The United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP) is a listing of professionally qualified and accredited counsellors in the UK and I am a UKRCP registered counsellor/psychotherapist.

I am also registered to AAMET which oversees the accreditation of EFT practitioners in the UK and internationally providing a similar role for Energy Psychology treatments as BACP for counsellors and psychotherapists. You can visit the AAMET website by clicking here.
