Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), or tapping as it has become known, breathes fresh air into the emotional therapy process by borrowing from the Chinese meridian system. While acupuncture, acupressure and the like have been primarily focused on physical ailments, EFT points it directly at emotional issues. These, in turn, often provide benefits for performance and physical issues.
It is dramatically different from conventional therapy practices and that is why it often works where nothing else will.
In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture, except we don't use needles. Instead, we use a simple two pronged process wherein we (1) mentally "tune in" to specific issues while (2) stimulating certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with our fingertips.
Properly done, EFT appears to balance disturbances in the meridian system and thus often reduces the conventional therapy procedures from months or years down to minutes or hours. Further, the basic method is very portable and easily learned by almost everyone. No special education is required. Even children have produced beginner's benefits with it.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
The EFT Gathering
I have made EFT a central part of my counselling practice & supervise other counsellors to do the same as it is by far the most effective technique I have ever come across as a therapist. EFT has speeded up the counselling process and has improved my results beyond my expectations. I have also experienced the power of EFT in my own life and have used it to make transformations that are beyond anything I have found with traditional therapies. Caution - it has to be said that no therapist can guarantee success with any approach or technique.
I have provided some more information about EFT that you can find by clicking on the links on the left of this page. You can also learn more from Gary Craig himself by visiting his website by clicking here

...as we are still discovering the amazingly wide applications for EFT.
EFT can be used to help with anxiety, anger, depression and other problem emotions, as well as PTSD or trauma. It can also be used for bereavement and loss, phobias, self harm, relationship problems, self esteem and lack of confidence.
Many people are using EFT to help them with performance issues in business, sport and education. More and more people are now using EFT to help them with weight loss.
Another exciting application is with pain. Many people are reporting significant reductions and in some cases resolution with many painful physical problems like back and neck pain and arthritis to name a few.
If you are unsure if EFT can help you please give me a call or drop me an email on 07595 020 660 and firstname.lastname@example.org
Thousands of practitioners and other people across the world have been writing to websites like EFTuniverse.com to share their often remarkable successes using EFT with clients and on themselves. To find out what people are saying about EFT click here
More recently the EFT community has been gathering more empirical research evidence, using recognised methodologies and the early findings seem to support at least some of what people have been saying about EFT, particularly with stress, anxiety, PTSD (trauma), depression and some physical conditions.

“EFT is a remarkable therapy. More remarkable is the skill and experience of George using this tool. He has changed my life and I cannot thank him enough”.
“George is a very dedicated and conscientious therapist. His heart is fully into helping people. To me, that is such an important quality for a therapist to have. I happily recommend George.” Tania Prince EFT Master
Being a six foot odd builder, I'm not the sort you'd expect to be doing EFT, but George taught me how to tap good things in and bad things out and what a difference it's made. It really works. No one was more surprised than me. Thanks George. Dave (client)
George came into my life when I had reached rock bottom. Within minutes of meeting him I felt his calming influence. All I can say is that EFT saved my life. I can’t thank George enough. Jan (client)
Initially when George introduced me to EFT I was sceptical but I tried it on a sharp back pain I had suffered from for years. Imagine my surprise when within minutes I was pain free. Jo (client)
When I started counselling I didn't realise the extent of my anxiety, however, I felt very relaxed in George’s presence. George helped me release my anxiety and gather my other emotions. I would just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for this. Rachel (client)
Since doing EFT with George I feel like a different person. I am more relaxed and feel like the weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Jayne (client)
